Christian Country Music Association Presents ICM Week and ICM Awards Show

Nashville, TN - January 29, 2009 - The 15th Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards are dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent among artists who perform Christian/Inspirational Country music. Christian/Inspirational Country music is inspired by Faith, Family, and Country.

This year ICM Week will again be held at Trinity Music City from October 11 through October 15, 2009. The ICM Awards Show will be held October 15th at 7 PM at the Trinity Music City Auditorium located in Hendersonville/Nashville, Tennessee.

Founder Gene Higgins said, "We are very excited about returning to Trinity Music City. We will be featuring daily and nightly shows in the theater, an acoustic cafe, an Exhibit Hall where you can meet Christian and Inspirational country artists, networking opportunities, a talent show, a songwriting contest, educational seminars and other great activities. This will be five days filled with great entertainment for the whole family! Come and enjoy over 100 artists performing throughout the week."

The Christian Country Music Convention (ICM Week) is a yearly event that draws music fans, broadcast media (radio, print, and TV) and the industry's top artists to Nashville to showcase songs of faith, family and country and to discuss industry related issues. The member-voted ICM Awards Show is the keynote event of ICM Week.

The ICM Awards Show plans to air on major networks historically with over 500 million subscribers in the United States, Canada and over 170 nations throughout the world.

The ICM Week is presented by the 501C-3 not-for-profit corporation, The Christian Country Music Association, founded in 1992.
